Service of this summons is With the 4-H Clubs Community Day Talked The Nehalem Valley Livestock club met at the home of Betty Counts April 17 at which time it was decided to have two demon strations for Community day, May 14. They are on halter making and the making of a calf blanket. The next meeting was held at the home of Jerol Moran May 1 when the Community day was dis cussed further and demonstrations on the use of a milking machine and how to make a calf blanket were decided upon. After the business meeting on April 17, the club members held an Easter egg hunt for which prizes were given and also ran foot races. The next meeting will be held at the home of Donnie Shafer May 21 at 2 o'clock. Supper Prepared The B.L.D.I. and II clubs met at the high school April 29. No definite meeting was held, but the members prepared a supper of green beans, lettuce salad, butter beets, muffins and butter and le mon pie. At a meeting held April 15 at the high school, a supper was also cooked and at the business meet ing it was decided to have a potluck picnic for members and their parents May 15. Newbry has re ported. He said dozens of Tcense plates applications are being received each day for vehicles on which current plates have already been issued. The practice apparently stems from a misunderstanding of Ore gon’s new permanent license plate law, Newbry said. The law re quires that plates remain with the vehicle whenever it is sold. This will also be true next year when the new legislation takes effect, he pointed out. Considerable correspondence is necessary to effect proper regis tration for vehicles whose plates have been removed in error, the secretary said.
