The Mist 4-H club met at the
home of Marlene and Darlene
Pugh on April 23. The girls have
chosen as the name of their club
"The Seven Busy Bees.” They are
working on dresser scarfs.
The next meeting will be on
Wednesday at the home of Bertie
Lu Ashley.
The strawberry festival was
a topic of discussion when the
Rainier Commercial club met for
a dinner meeting at the Interstate
Cafe last week. Committees re­
ported their progress to date. It
was reported that a high grade
carnival is coming and there will
be a program with high grade
outside talent. There will be a
dance with good music. A giant
shortcake will be served during the
festival.

gliding flights.
Food Sale Planned
The Busy 10 Cooking club met
April 25 at the home of Mrs.
Bessie Tapp. The members de­
cided to hold a cooked food sale
Saturday, April 30, at Sundlands
and they also decided to plan
menus at their next meeting.
The business meeting was ad­
journed and Mary Ta^p and Ann
Ortner demonstrated baking pow­
der sponge cake. The next meet­
ing will be Monday.
