They expect to locate near here as he has em ployment in the mill. Leonard Cookson is able to be out again after being confined to his home with a bad infection in his foot. Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Frykholm and daughter visited at the Pier son home Monday. Claude McCool was home over the week end from The Dalles where he is employed. Mrs. Curtis Pierson is spending a few days in Portland. Chester Reynolds and daughter fcherylee, returned to Sweet Home Sunday. Mrs. Burnett is quite ill at this time. Mr. and Mrs. Truman Davenport made a trip to Castle Rock Sat urday. Mrs. Flora Whitmire is im proving after being ill for a couple of weeks. Mr, and Mrs. Beck Thompson and daughter were over from Scappoose visiting relatives the first of the week. Mr. Schooley visited at the Al bert Walker home Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Snyder were in Forest Grove Saturday. Mrs. Mary Dripp went to Port land Tuesday on business. Sale oi Place Is Expected MIST — It has been learned that the late Mollie Wrights place is to be sold and the Wilson family which are now occupying it, will move away. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lindburg were recent visitors from St. Helens of their Mothers, Mrs. J. 0. Libel, and Shelmon. Some more thieving has been going on. The I. J. Dass service station, on the Vernonia road and Jake Neuer were among those visited. The W.M.S. met at the home of Mrs. Ray Bennett last Wed nesday P. M. with 21 ladies pre sent. Those three Evangelists, Maude, Clara and Jane, were visitors at the meeting. Their talks and songs were very much enjoyed. These ladies are holding meetings in Clatskanie the first of this week. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Malone were shopping in Vernonia Saturday. The Jack 'Croford family are expecting guests in the near fu ture.
