Columbia Encampment No. 89 RIVERVIEW—O. W. Lindsley, brother of W. J. Lindsley and Mrs. Sarah Austin, passed away at the age of 63 with pneumonia at Brookings on December 29. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Lindsley and daughter, Joan, and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Lindsley and family were by his bedside till the time of his death. The funeral services were THURSDAY, JAN. 8, 1948 held at Brookirgs and the inter ment at Coquille. Survivors are his three brother«, W. J. Lindsley of Vernonia, L. A. Lindsley of Portland and Bruce Lindsley of Brookings and two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Austin of Vernonia and Mrs. Elma Billings • of Washougal, Washington. They were all there for his funeral services. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Lindsley and daughter visited Mr. Lind- sley’s cousin at Gardiner, whom they hadn’t seen for about 20 years and also their daughter at Toledo and a niece at North Bend. They returned home New Year’» Day.
