Oregon manager, was in Washing­
ton, D.C. for a meeting arranged
by the rural electrification admin­
istration.

ment and reclamation in this sec­
tion of the nation.

(R-Ore) presided over the House
of Representatives on Monday of
this week according to information
received from Washington. At the
request of Speaker Joseph W.
Martin, Jr., (R-Mass), Norblad
took the gavel during the debate
on technical proceedings to ex­
punge certain documents from the
Congressional Record. He is one
of the first of newer Republican
members to be accorded this priv­
ilege.
