Reports Asked on N5.L.L Insurance Rotation Basis Liberalized More Nearly 4760 Oregon veterans who are under the GJ. tail were required tn send in four-'nr.nth earning reports by March S, to assure continued subsistence pay- mente from the Veterans Admia- if rariam, Thoma* M. Craig, VA representative officer fog th:* area, announced a few days ago. Under a new rotation plan, the VA will ask wage reports from one-fourth of all trainees each month, completing the cycle every four month*. The first fourth, with surnames starting with letters from A , through G, are receiving wage report forma en closed w.th their February sub sistence checks. Craig stated. About 1600 on-tbe-job trainees are among the first 4700 to re ceive the blanks. Even though they forwarded correct wage re ports within the past month, the VA ia asking these veteran* to »end in the new form also, since they include space for February earning*. Another 1360 job trainees were to receive notices by Mareh 1 of suspension from subsistence rolls. These neglected to submit reports required of them by Feb ruary 5 or failed to supply all data asked for on the forms. A chance at reinstatement is being given with a new report Mank enclosed with each suspension notice. Chief flaw in wage reports from job trainees has been failure to include the employer’s record of wages and his signature, Craig pointed out. Craig meets with veteran* each Wednesday morning in the eity hall at Vernonia.
