The local girl keglers however put up a good battle and show some improvement over the last game played two weeks ago. The three top scorers of the season are Byers, Cline and Anderson. Cline and Grenia are the “rough boys’’ of the Vernonia team, each committing 53 personal fouls. However, this is nothing against their record, because it is usually the one who is in there mixing it up and really working hard that fouls. The Logger record is: Pct. FT Pct. These calls tend to pile up in "peaks," at which times our busy lines are more crowded than ever. These peak periods are: 9:30 TO 11 IN THE MORNING 2 TO 4 IN THE AFTERNOON May we make a suggestion which may improve your own telephone service? If you will do as much of your telephoning as is conveniently pos sible during the non-peak hours, you probably will get faster, more efficient service. We are carrying forward our Five and One-Half Million Dollar expansion program as rapidly as we can secure materials from our manufacturers, and we will continue to improve and enlarge our facilities until we once again can provide the finest service in the United States. Meanwhile, we sin cerely appreciate your continued cooperation and support.
