f LET'S BE SOCIABLE Legion, Auxiliary To Celebrate Monday Legion Selects Two New Officers The American Legion and its Auxiliary will celebrate Armistice day with a .pot-luck dinner Mon­ day, November 11 at 6:30 p.m. at their hall. Hot rolls, butter, sugar, cream and coffee will be furnished by the Auxiliary. All service and ex-service men and their families are cordially invited to partici­ pate. Gifts for the families of hos­ pitalized veterans may be brought to the hall at that time. The re­ habilitation chairman and the child welfare chairman will mail all gifts to the gift shop at the hospital oi to the child welfare center to be given to the families of veterans in their homes. At a special election held Mon­ day evening, the American Legion selected two new officers to fill vacancies which have arisen since the last regular election. Named as the new commander is Ray Justice who fills the va­ cancy arising from the resigna­ tion of Frank Slemmons.
