son, Bertram, spent Sunday in
Vancouver, Washington at the
home of their son, Paul.
George Bell transacted business
in St. Helens Monday.
Carnet Falconbury of the Ma­
rine Corps, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Morris Falconbury, came Thurs­
day to spend a ten-day leave here.
On Sunday he accompanied his
parents, his sister, Juanita, and
uncle, Johnnie Strunk on an outing
to Mt. Hood and around the loop
to z Government Camp.

turn to San Diego at the ex­
piration of his leave. He expects
to see China before he comes to
Riverview again.
Vacation days were over when
Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Crawford
drove into their driveway Mon. aft­
ernoon, tanned, dusty and tired
after their drive home from Van­
couver, B. C., where they had
visited Mr. Crawford’s son, Wil­
loughby, who was ill. They spent
some time with Mrs. Crawford’s
brother, Tom Brown, at Port An-
gees, Washington. Mr. Brown has
a motor boat and they made suc­
cessful fishing trips every day
and dined on fish four times a
day.

to move here this week, and Mr.
and Mrs. Reuben Pederson who
are movjng in with Mr. Fragell.
The Pedersops were formerly of
Langdon, North Dakota, and came
over from Birkenfeld so that Mr.
Pederson could be nearer his job
at the O-A mill. They have one
son, Kenneth, a second grader.

Elizabeth Obrien of Portland
spent Wednesday and Thursday
with Mrs. Elizabeth Brown. The
two Elizabeths were schoolmates
in bygone days.
