Hillyer drove to Bonny Slope and spent the day with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hecker. Mrs. Jesse Cripe and son, Cecil, of Longview, Washington, were here for a week end visit at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Bert Bassett. Mrs. C. T. Moore of Seattle is making a leisurely visit at the home of her son, Walter C. Moore. Jack Henrickson of Portland and Miss Lorraine Mahar spent the week end at Newport. George Williamson brought his sons, Tom and Jim, and a fine new rowboat over from Hillsboro Saturday morning and the day was spent with the Louis Hunt- ley family picnicking and boat riding. Due to clutch trouble George’s car refused to travel the home . journey so the trio were taken home by Albert Huntley. Mrs. J. W. Nichols was a busi ness visitor in Portland Monday.
