Mrs. Geers and children left here Sept. 14th to be with him when he was transferred to the Lemoore army air base near Fresno, California. Her husband was killed Oct. 11th when a car ran into the rear of their car, throwing Mrs. Geers and the three children out of the car and hitting him. He was stand­ ing at the side of the car to flag someone for help as their car had stopped because cf en­ gine trouble. Mrs. Geers intends to stay here for the present. Mrs. Ruth Brownlee and two daughters, Maura and LaVonna, were here Tuesday night frcm Gast n to see her brother, Hal Fowler, who has just arrived home after a discharge from the navy. Mos.
