ALL WORK GUARANTEED The Tillamook fire of north west Oregon was brought to a definite patrol basis ofter 53 days of fire fighting when hard rain» fell in northwest Oregon on Sep tember 3 and 4th. However, tho hazard is not definitely ended for the balance of the year. There are numerous smoldering stumps, rotten logs and snags scattered throughout the fire and only the winter rains can completely ex tinguish these. Preliminary estimates, based upon reports of field men, place the net acreage burned at 133,000 acres. However, the total acreage within the exterior boundaries of the burn is some 165,000 acres. The excess over the actual amount burned is due to many islands of varying sizes within the fire that were not burned. FISHING FOR BARGAINS? DROP YOUR LINE IN THE CLASSIFIED COLUMN. .
