Africa, Sicily, Italy, France and Germany and has the purple heart, six battle stars, a French decoration and an honorable dis­ charge. Frs. Several families from this vi­ cinity were in Portland Sunday to attend a picnic reunion at Peninsula park of the Peterson clan. Attending from here were Mr. an dMrs. Emil Messing, Mr. and Mrs. R. S.
