This “real in come” 1 b not a subtraction of cash Income and expenditures but an average relative of these figures designed to show how living costs affect adjusted income dollars. Cash Income of the American public in February was 99 cents for every $1 a year earlier. The follow ing changes per dollar were: wages oft 5 cents, salaries oft 4 cents on the $1.00; other Income unchanged and investment income at $1.11 was up eleven cents.
