Oregon where they have been
visiting relatives for two weeks.

RIVERVIEW—The May meet­
ing of St. Mary’s Altar Society
was held Wed. p.m. at the J. A.
Wirtz home. Mrs. Harry Condit
acted as chairman. The discus­
sions centered around the open­
ing and carrying through of the
vacation school which will be
held in the Lincoln grade school,
Vernonia, from May 28th to
June 10th. The members of this
society regret very much the de­
parture of two of their most ac­
tive members, Mrs. Blaine Cobat

Bridge arrived here Wed. nite
with Olin Robbins of the O-A
hill for a visit with relatives and
friends. For several months the
Parkers have resided at Suth­
erland where Harold is one of a
group of loggers who are remov­
ing piling from the woods adjac­
ent to that place. They speak
very highly of their home and
neighbors at Bridgt. They left
Sun. noon by bus.
While in this vicinity Sun. and
Mon. to supervise the opening of
the Catholic vacation school,
Father Gerace of Huber, called
on his parishioners here and at
Pittsburg.
After nursing a badly crushed
finger for two weeks, Arthur
Armstrong has the digit looking
more like something human
again. Altho it has been very
painful, Arthur lost no time at
the O-A mill where the accident
occured.,
Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Lindsley
spent Sun. with his sister, Mrs.
Sadie Austin on Corey hill.
