Home Purchased
Mrs. C. S. Hoffman returned
Sunday from St. Petersburg,
Florida where she has been for
the past several months visiting
with her daughter, Mrs. Donald
O. Tower and her husband.
Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Kirtland
have purchased a home at Sher
idan and plan to move there the
first of the coming wedk. Mr.
Kirtland will continue to act as
government trapper in Yamhill
county, the same work that he
has followed while living here.

Mr .and Mrs. Harold Shipley
have returned here, to make their
heme after living for some time
at Corvallis where he worked for
United Loggers. He will work for
Sam Wilson here.

of Beaverton were here last
Wednesday evening to attend the
Order of Eastern Star meeting.
He is worthy patron of the Bea
verton Star.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hearing re
turned to their home here a few
days ago after spending a month
at Seaside on vacation.
Ill for Short Time
N. S. Soden suffered an acute
attack of indigestion last Friday
and was taken to his home for
recovery. He had recovered and
was able to be back to work at
the barbershop the first of this
week.

Foot In Cast
Mrs. Adolph Nelson is still
suffering from a broken bone in
her foot following a fall which
caused the injury about a month
ago. Her foot is still encased in
a cast.
