Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hearing, Sr.
are spending over a month at
Seaside on a vacation following
the sale of their store to Ted
and Lou Girod. Both Mr. and
Mrs. Hearing are feeling much
better following recent illnesses.

Health Meet Attended
Attending the meeting of the
Columbia County Public Health
association at St. Helens Monday
were Miss Velma Ramsey, Lin­
coln grade school principal, Wal-
lace McCrae, Paul Gordon and
R. L. Spencer.
Several local people have re­
ceived treatment within the past
few days for minor injuries. J.
Anglesey is receiving treatment
for bruised ribs which he re­
ceived over a week ago, R. L.
Thompson has a finger injured
by a closing door, and Ed Fra­
zee was off work a short time
with an ankle sprain received
last Friday. Oliver Graves is ill
and in bed from breathing

etta, from the same district, were
luncheon guests at the Lloyds.
