Golden received medical treatment for an ankle sprain Friday. Mrs. Julius Stubbs has also been receiving medical treatment and has been confined to bed since Friday. Mrs. Ella S. Backer left last week for her home at Yakima, Washington after spending a month here with her son, Rev. Allen H. Backer, and family. Knights Return Home Mr. and Mrs. Elmore Knight returned to their home here early last week after spending over .1 month in California where they visited their son, Truman, who is stationed at Bakersfield, and a sister of Mrs. Knight. Hands Injured Ben George and Dick Fletcher suffered fractured hands Tues day, the former while working at the mill and the lattter while chopping wood. Shorty Lee transfer. All kinds of hauling. Prayer Meeting Due The home of Mrs. George Ro land will be the scene Friday afternoon of a cottage prayer meeting of Evangelical church members. The meeting will begin at 1 o’clock. Move to New Home Mr. and Mrs. Ira Lee spent Saturday and Sunday moving to the -home they purchased at 858 First Ave. The house was former ly occupied by the H. H. Frank family.
