County News ADAMS HIGH BIDDER FOR CITY TIMBER CLATSKANIE — Archie Ad ams was the high bidder for the old city reservoir property near the August Pykkonen place and his offer was conditionally ac cepted by the common council. Adams’ bid was for $2140. The property includes 48 acres, mostly second growth timber. Also at the same meeting city land was released to the Texas Oil Co., which has been leasing property throughout this part of the country. The lease includes the property that is not being used by the city at the present time.
