Douglass re ceived word Saturday of the birth of a granddaughter, Katherine, to Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Eckman of Fresno, California on July 9. This is their second • child and Mrs- Eckman is the Douglass' daughter, Vivian. Returns Week-End---- Mr. and Mrs. John Borton and daughter, Bernice, spent last week end in Portland, and visited Jant- zen beach while there. 25% Mrs. Robert Cline returned here Saturday from the Forest Grove hospital, but her new son was tak en to the Doernbecker hospital in Portland in a serious condition. Mrs. Myrite Cline is with her grandson. Rishel, returned here Saturday following the death and burial of Mr. Rishel in Olym pia, Washington. Mrs. Rishel has purchased a home here on C St. Mrs. Bodell’s parents had been visiting here, and she drove them back to Olympia Tuesday, June 29. Her plan to stay only several days was changed when her father passed away. Mr. Rishel was quite well-known by a number of people here.
