LET’S BE SOCIABLE New Year’s Watch Meeting to Be Held— Rebekah-Odd Fellow Party Well Attended— A New Year’s watch meeting will be held at the Evangelical church tonight beginning at 8:00 p.m. with the election of officers. This will be followed by the taking of days, the method of covering the church’s budget for the coming year. Games and refreshments will fol low the business meeting. A devo tional watch night service at mid night will close the meeting. Over one hundred Rebekahs, Odd Fellows, .heir children, and friends were present Tuesday night, De cember 22 at a party held at the I.O.O.F. hail. Entertainment con sisted of vocal and instrumental numbers by pupils of Miss Maiie DeBolt. The Rebekahs arranged for a trea, for the children and the sup per which concluded the evening. Odd Feilows decoialed the hall and provided me entertainment. Club to Have New Year’s Dance Tonight— Tonight—New Year’s eve—the Vernonia Little Dance club will cel ebrate the occasion by having a dance at the Odd Fellows hall. Mu sic will be provided by the Nightin gale orchestra. Members are urged to invite guests for the evening, and may obtain tickets for them at the light office. Mrs. R. D.
