Those desiring to apply for thes tags should send to the Portland office of the Game Commission the proper fee and information as to the num ber and kind of hunting license held. All applications will be held until August 1, at which time a drawing will be held if the number of applications exceeds the quota of tags. Otherwise, the tags the;, will be issued in the order appli cations are made until all have been sold. Information as to the number of tags to be sold, the open areas and amount of fees is included in the following summary of regulations. DEER Open season, September 26 to October 31. General bag limit, one nude deer or one Columbian black tail deer having not less than fork ed horns. Emily, Mule Deer, that part qf Warner reserve outside o>f federal Hart Mt. refuge, and Canyon creek reserve; provided, however, that that part of Canyon Creek reserve lying east and north of Canyon creek hunting may be done by use of only the long bow and broadhead arrow.
