Sergeant Elmer Michener was a week-end visitor at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Michen er. Mr. and Mrs. Michener took El mer to Forest Grove Sunday where the party visited with Elmer’s grand mother. Mrs. Grace Currie and Mrs. Min nie Wood were Monday callers on Mrs. Perry Mellinger. Sunday callers at the Melvin Ba ker home were Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Laramore and family. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lindsey were Sunday callers at the Otto Michener home. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Mellinger spent the Easter week-end at the William Ellis home in Oregon City. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Browning and son and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Baxter motored to Silver Creek, Washing ton Sunday, where the party attend ed a birthday dinner in honer of Mr. Browning’s mother, Mrs. R. M. Short. Mrs. Perry Mellinger attended the meeting of the Mountain Heart Social dub Wednesday at the home of Mrs. W. G. Heath. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Taylor and daughter spent the week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Michen er. Mr. and Mrs. Vurl Roberts and family motored to Estacada Sunday to visit Mr. Robert’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Elliott have as their guests, Barron Harris and a friend from Urania, Louisian»,. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Davis enter tained a group of friends with a card party Saturday night. Pneumonia Is Illness Cause KEASEY—Mr and Mrs. Frank White and family spent Easter ir. Portland. Mr. and Mrs. J. 0. DeVaney were called to Portland Tuesday as their daughter, Mrs. B. P. Westerberg was very sick with pneumonia. Mr. DeVaney returned home Friday night but Mrs. DeVaney is still there. Mrs. Westerberg is getting better and expects to go home from the hospital the middle of this week. Mr. and Mrs. Jess Stanley, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lange and Mr. and Mrs. Thurman DeHart and daughter visited Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Steven son Sunday. Mrs. Wallace Bergerson and sons visited Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ber- grrson, Mr. and Mrs. D. Brady and Mr. and Mrs. E. Smith Friday. Mrs. E. Smith and daughter spent Friday in Forest Grove. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Baker and son visited Mr. and Mrs. D. R. De Vaney Sunday night and Monday. Mrs. Grace Pettijohn and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Pettijohn and Elza Pettijohn spent the week-end at the Pettijohn place near Keasey. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cota spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Stowell and Keith called at the Wilbur Thacker home Sunday afternoon.
