After the dessert luncheon, roll call was ans wered by each member’s naming her favorite radio personality. For her report, Mrs. E. H. Con- dit told the ,group of the book, “I Live on Air” by Schechter assisted by Anthony. The book gives the story of radio’s development since 1923 under the diplomatic guidance of Schechter who has been since 1938 the director of news and spec ial events for the National' Broad casting company. During the business meeting, a report from Mrs. A. J. Hughes, chairman of the Red Cross drive cf which the club is in charge in this district was heard. Also at this time needy families to receive Christmas baskets were named. Mrs. F. R. Olin will be hostess at her home on December 18 for the annual Christmas party. No formal program has been planned, hut singing of Christmas carols and giving gifts will be part of the afternoon’s entertainment. The O. A.
