This is in the nature of a
summer tradition — a progress
report on the Wilson river high
way linking inland Oregon and
the Tillamook country. And
this is probably the last year it
will be necessary.
For after ten years of disap
pointing setbacks the fast new
trunk route to the coast is so

officials are almost certain of
the exact opening date—Labor
day.
