Mrs. Hamlin commended Ver- nonia on the activities outlined for the year and urged the com­ pletion of all projects before con­ vention time in August. Various phases of the national program were explained and the four-poin: program of the Universal Service bill was outlined. Mrs. Hamlin vga in stressed the importance of writing to the congressmen asking heir support of the bill, the pur­ pose of which is to take profit out of war and to draft capital as well as manpower in case of war.
