Lloyd returned home Sunday from the St. Vin cents hospital in Portland. Mrs. K. Fowler of St. Helens is spending a few weeks with relatives in Riverview. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Jacobs and family were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. Hall Sunday. Ted Turple and Miss Helen DeMartini of Portland visited in Vernonia Sunday. Mr. Turple, who is catcher on the Vernonia baseball team, was here to con fer with Manager Glen Hawkins regarding plans for the coming season.
