baby son has been very ill with a
bad case of flu.
Mrs. Margaret Dunlap is re­
covering from a serious fall,
which was caused from slipping
on a rug. She still remains in
bed, and seems to be a little
better.
Fred Burkhard of Goble is
spending a few days with Mr.
and Mrs. R. S. Golden.
Mr. and Mrs. Watson of Bux­
ton were dinner guests of Mr.
and Mrs. Charlie White.
Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Golden’s
baby girl Margaret has just re­
turned home from the St. Vin­
cents hospital in Portland .where
she has been ill with pneu­
monia.

Vernonia Monday to buy candies
and nuts for the Pleasant Vale
school. The Christmas program
was held at the school Tuesday
night.
The county is building a fence
along the bank on the top of the
hill between the Bergerson and
Ted Keasey ranches where Geo.
Comstock went over two weeks
ago.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Krieger
and Mrs. W. J. Lindsley made a
trip to Portland Monday.
Buddy Armstrong has been un­
able to attend school the last
