HIGHWAY RUDENESS CAUSES ACCIDENTS Many persons who would never be discourteous in their homes or in their daily activities forget themselves when they get behind the steering wheel at which time seemingly they are rude and ill- mannered. Such is the opinion formed as a result of a survey of an eastern city, report of which survey has been filed with Sec retary of State Earl Snell. ‘The ten greatest public ene- ,mies would not be classified as such if they would improve such a simple thing as their manners,” indicates the report. These eme- mies are classified as follows: “The bluffing road hog, the impatient driver, the careless pe destrian, the driver who insists on being at the head of the pack, the driver who will not signal, the double parker, the driver who will not dim his lights, the dri ver who turns in the middle of the street, the driver who weaves in and out of traffic and the horn blower.” “Certainly fewer accidents would occur, many lives would be spared and injuries prevented if users of the highway would ob serve the simple rules of cour tesy that they would not violate in their homes, their offices, or their businesses,” concludes Mr. JOY THEATRE Saturday Without Orders From a story by Peter B.
