In the main event Pasquille Castello will mix with “Murderous” Mike London, the Lodi, Cal., hoodlum. There is likely to be plenty of fire works, and the fans may look for almost anything. Castello is the clean type of wrestler, and Lon don the opposite. In the next bout George Ben nett of Oaklahoma, who appeared on the last card here and made a good impression, will wrestle Jack Claybourne, the only colored wrestler on the Pacific coast. Both are clean scientific wrest lers. To provide variety the pre liminary will consist of a four round boxing match between two local boys. BARNEY BROS. BANK BY MAIL— TRAVEL INTO STATE MAKES GREAT GAIN XXX Results of the “Sell Oregon” campaign launched several months ago are seen in the heavy influx of motor tourists this year, re ports Earl Snell, secretary of state, At least 60,000 more vis- itors will visit Oregon in 1936 than entered the state in 1935, is his conclusion after studying the nonresident registration rec ords of the first five months. The “Sell Oregon” movement has been the result of the com bined efforts of the Oregon State Motor association, the press of the state, the travel and infor mation bureau of the state high way department, and the secre tary of state. That it has been effective is demonstrated by the 20 per cent increase in out-of- state cars registered during the first fivg months of 1936. Dur ing this time 23,725 motor ve hicles were listed, while the same period in 1935 brought a total registration of 19,614. Based on the present percent age in increase, it is anticipated that more than 120,000 cars from other states will enter Oregon this year. Estimating three pas sengers on an average for each motor vehicle, some 360,000 tour ists will visit the state. During May the increase in registrations reached 29 per cent, with 8,834 cars checked in at the bureaus throughout the state.
