The striking feature of this black
wool crepe street frock worn by
Virginia Reid, screen actress, is
the clever pique buttons which trim
the bodice. The pique, a waffle
weave, Is corded to form the round
buttons which are themselves orna
mented with pique “wings.” Tht
same fabric forms the muffler col
lar. Though the frock Is cut In
one piece, it Is styled to give the
effect of a jacket In the back. With
the frock she wears a peaked hat
made of ribbed black crepe.
