Tuesday morning on the Nehalem
highway in Riverview.
It is asserted that Mr. Car
rick, who was on his way to
work at camp, was attempting
to pass a car driven by Wilbur
Erb, and in so doing crashed
head on into a car driven by
Albert Schmidlin, Jr., who was
approaching in the opposite dir
ection. The fog was so dense
that none of the drivers could
see the others’ cars until the
accident happened. Mr. Erb and
Mr. Schmidlin were uninjured.
