afternoon in Vancouver, Washing­
ton, Both are well known young
people, the bride, who is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. A.
Mills, having been a graduate of
the Vernonia high school and a
Btudent for a time at the Oregon
State Agricultural college, and
the groom having been manager
of the local Safeway store for
about two years.
The couple left Saturday morn­
ing for Portland, where they vis­
ited with Mr. Wangler’s mother.
Sunday night they spent in La
Grande, and on Monday they
went to Burns, where Mr. Wang­
ler will have charge of the Safe­
way ®nit.

Class 4 of the Evangelical Sun­
day school were guests of the
Sundav School board in the
church social room Saturday af­
ternoon at a party given in their
honor as a reward for winning
a recent attendance contest.
Games were enjoyed under the
direction of Mrs. E. J. Douglass.

green whipped cream with candy
Easter eggs and cake, featured
the refreshments served at a
table decorated with spring flow­
ers and Easter bunnies.

instrumental music.
Evening Worship at 7:45. Ser­
mon, “The Bodily Resurrection of
Jesus”. Everyone is especially ur­
ged to take part in these Easter
