Laverne Parker and sons left Saturday for Oregoi City, where she will visit her sister for an indefinite time. Jess Forquer of Tulare, calif., spent Monday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Carl Allen. Mr. and Mrs. I. O. Short of Prineville, and Mrs. C. L. Mad- deau of Cottage Grove, brother and sister of Mrs. J. M. Peachey, spent Sunday at Mrs. Peachey’s home in Riverview. Doris Lindgren and Hazel Tom lin of Vernonia were guests of Ada Mills Saturday. Clyde Jenkins returned from Portland over the week end and is visiting at the home of E. L. Lloyd. Clarence Fowler spent a few days at the home of his brother- in-law at Pleasant Grove this week. Mrs. Amy Beach of Pittsburg was a guest of Mrs. B. B. Haw kins Tuesday. Friends of Mrs. T. C.
