the state game commission by
Lester Sheeley and E. H. Wash­

Of 200,000 cutthroat released
since April 4, 1933, 140,000 were
planted in the Clatskanie and
60,000 in Rock creek.
No fish were planted in Milton
creek or Scappoose creek.
Distribution a year ago was as
follows: of 123,000 steelhead,
40,000 were planted in Rock
creek, 40,000 in the Nehalem,
20,000 in East Fork of the Ne-
halem, and 23,000 in the Little
Fishhawk. Of 150,000 cutthroat,
30,000 each wore planted in
Pebble creek, Peterson creek,
Beaver creek, and Rock creek;
15,000 in North Scappoose, 10,-
000 in the Clatskanie and 5,000
in Cox creek.

the Clatskanie, which is not con­
sidered as important a fishing
stream as many of the others.
