dents at the University of Ore­
gon are taking a prominent part
in college life, both scholastically
and in student activities, accord­
ing to a recent check of the stu­
dents, six of whom are from Ver­
nonia. Other Columbia county
towns represented at the universi­
ty are Clatskanie, Mist, Houlton,
St. Helens and Scappoose.
