Steagens of Montana. The afternoon was pleasantly spent in a social visit and some very beautiful selections being rendered on the piano and accor- dian by Mrs. Steagens. Lunch was served at the close of the after noon by Mrs. Aamodt. Those present were Mesdames A. M. Berg, G. Wanstrom, P. Wanstrom, Whittig, Benzer, East man, Dowling, Jones, Bridgers, Carmichiel, Stoneham, Sundland, Knowles, and Miss Grace Carmi- chiel. Mr. and Mrs. Steagens will leave for Montana in about two weeks where they will make their home. The Loyal Gleaners enjoyed a picnic at Mrs. George Stankey’s home Wednesday at one o’clock. Games and swimming and canoe ing in Rock creek were the di versions of the afternoon. Those who attended were Mrs. George Laird and children, Mrs. Ray Charlesworth, Mrs. R. A. Olson, Mrs. George Stankey, Mrs. E. Knight, Mrs. Phil Taylor, Mrs. Bertha Taylor and Miss Florence Stubbs. The next meeting of the class will be August 5, at the home of Mrs. J. L. Timmons.
