THE
Nine Car Special
Train
Dairying is one of the leading income producing industries of this
county. To bring a message of more profitable dairying to this section,
the Oregon State Agricultural College Extension Service and the S. P.
and S. Railroad have prepared a nine car demonstration train with ex-
hibits that will cover every phase of dairying.
Lower costs, higher quality, better marketing and increased con-
sumption will be the four points stressed in the exhibits, demonstrations
and the program. These are the factors that will make for permanency
in the dairy industry.
Every car will have a separate message for the dairyman. In fact
the exhibits have been so splendidly prepared and arranged that there
will be a worthwhile message for everyone. Here are some of the prac
tical and interesting points that will be featured in each car.
Feed Car—Exhibits emphasizing permanent pastures, legumes,
succulents and other feeds and their relation to success in
dairying.
