Ready for Action Soon
The Vernonia Golf course is
expected to be open for playing
about June 15, according to
those who have been active in
sponsoring the golf links.
The pumps and water system
is now being installed and is
expected to be completed about
the end of this week.
The Columbia Utilities com-
pany are running a power line
out from the city to the course
which is located alongside the
main road on the Timber route
about three miles from town.
