EASTERN OREGON has about 500 people with tuberculosis, and no hospital beds there for them. This fact hurts e.try community in Oregon by increasing the waiting list for the i iberculosis hos pital at Salem. This hospital has had to refuse ad .1 ttance to 350 patients in the last five years for lack of space. Those who did got in had to wait from one to four months.
