VII of the Charter of the City of
Vernonia, Oregon, entitled and ad-
opted by the people of the City of
Vernonia on the 7th day of Novem­
ber, 1922, relating to the power ami
authority of the Council to read ax

annum of all property, both real
and peraonal, except as other­
wise provided in this act, within
the corporate limits of said city,
without exemption from indeb­
tedness; said taxes to be collec­
ted under the general laws of
the State of Oregon
And I, do hereby further proclaim
that ut said Special election the le­
gal voters, voted 10 levY “ tax for
tlie year 1926, which exceeds by
more than six (fl) per cent the tax
levied by the City of Vernonia, for
the preceding year, by levying a tax
if Fourteen Thousand One Hundred
