We consider it quite a treat this)
week to look over the advance sheets
of the attractions coming to the Ma
jestic theatre beginning this Satur
day. Certainly some good stories ano
after reading them we are of the
opinion that yon will say the com
ing week is the best yet offered at
the local house.
For instance, on this Saturday
night you will be priviledge<j U> see 1
Anita Stewart in one of her best, j
“Bare», Son of Kazan.” Baree is n I
dog, and the story is of the fa?
north. It is a story always liked, of
prospectors, fur hunters and trap
pers, mixed with romances, a beau
tiful love story, the strong devo
tion of a wolf dog and excitement.
Saturday night promises to be a goo*
show.
For this Sunday and Monday, two i
nights, all will more than welcome [
Harold Lloyd in “The Freshman."
It is the best iftid most comical of'
all his productions.
Harold Lloyd j
{days a rah, rah boy—and a very ■
green one at that—in “The Fresh
man.” In
r ’ Lloyd's

fore the camera this is the first
time he’s ever been a collegian,

and George Fitzmaurice who gave
you “A Thief in Paradise,” “Tar
nish” and other best selling films.
These are the high lights of “The
Dark Angel,” and we maintain that
they are an ample guarantee that
this picture will make more then
good. The story has already made
good. As a stage play it was a thrill
ing srreess. It is not the usual type
of love drama. There is no villain.
There is not a dishonorable act by
anybody. A soldier is stricken down
upon the field of battle in the World
War—not killed, but blinded for
life. A girl back home had promised
to become his wife, but rather than
submit to her to his life of darkness
he returns under an assumed name.
—But we can’t tell you the big storj
here.
Next Thursday and Friday is of
fered “The Wife Who Wasn’t Wan
ted.” A thrilling drama of real life
“The Wife Who Wasn’t Wanted” the
Warner Bros, classic of the screen
is an engrossing photoplay of a
wife’s sacrifice of her husband’s love
and a mother’s sacrifice of her re
putation to save her son. Irene Rich
the charming Warner Bros, star,1
plays the title role of Mrs. Manner-1
mg, who became an unwanted and
unloved wife because she believed
no sacrifice to great for her son.
and her husband believed that his
honor came before everything else,
including his son. James Flood Wjjs
the director. In ever respect it is a
photoplay that will appeal to picture
goers who are discriminating in
their choice of screen entertainment.
