SUPPORT THE HOME PAPER
A very novel and enjoyable home
dance was given Tuesday evening
by Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Hayes at their
attractive home at Millview. An uni
que feature of the occasion was the
fact that a major portion of the mus-
ic for the evening was furnished by
Henry Holstead's St. Francis Hotel
orchestra at San Francisco and The
Multnomah Hotel Strollers ut Port
land. This was supplemented by mua-
ic on the Ampico. During the enter-
termissions the party enjoyed music
broadcasted by KGO, KGW »nd KPO
Refreshments of Coffee, chocolate,
sandwiches and cake were served.
The business interests of .< town
should support the home paper from
a business standpoint because they
can get better results from an »>■
in their home paper at Itss cost than
from any other advertising medium.
More people will read an id in th»
home paper than can be reached in
any other way for the same amount
■>f money.
This part of a home paper is one of
the 1 ggest appeals it has to a busi
ness man.
And this part of it is mutually ben
eficial to advertiser and publisher,
How does it come that officials
because the more advertising a pap
er carries the more readers it can of luw enn’t discover fake stocks
reach because it can afford to put when the suckers can find them so
