Mrs. M. Hoffman, mother of C. S.
Hoffman arrived this week from
South Dakota for an extended visit,
at the Hoffman home. Mrs. Hoffman
is passed 80 years old, and traveles
alone, enjoying every part of the
country and trip. She says she feels
acquainted with Vernonia from hav­
ing been an Eagle reader for some
time.
