A history from the ’70s ’till to-day. This gives 50 to 60 years to play on, and some of the students have relatives who have been here nearly that long. It will be instruction for the Btudents and iuteresting for our thousands of- readers. The best essays will be prin - ed in the Eagle. If it will increase interest among the pupils, the Eagle will give a reward of ?5. for the best article that we accept. The essays to be finished and submitted to the Eagle not later than Dec. 5. No arti­ cle accepted that contains more than 1500 words ; 800 to 1000 is a good average.
