paper published in Portland recently
published a thirty-two page special
ctliiton. The publication is interspers
ed with cuts oi prominent Swecdish
citizens and Uuiilie of Oreon.

the German trenches bearing the lu-i

the roan levy. Judge Mare ami Com
missioner Owens, stood up for a nine
mill road tax. while Commissioner
McKimens stood for a seven mill levy,

Mistakes in the handling of county j
work may have been made during the
past vear, but most of the mistakes
the court has not been directly respon
sible for. The work has been new to
every member of the court, which fact

believe the court is composed of honest
conscientious men who are endeavoring
to do their best, and we do not think
there is any question but what next
year will see things moving along
much better.

The County School Matter's Club

Alfred Fletcher, who returns to grad
uate with the senior class and Chi ssi l
Mills who entered the Commercial
Department.
