Section 1. The Common Council of Tillamook City. Oregon, is hereby authorised to issue and sell to George I., and John A. Mcl'herson. or their order, upon the faith and credit ol UlUmook City. Oregon, the general bonds of said Tillamook C ity to the amount of Forty Thousand Dollar i $.40,000.00) at the price of par, and a premium of three per cent, together with accrued interest from date of bonds to date of payment therefor by the purchasers. The proceeds from the sab? ol such bonds shall be appli ed by the Common Council of I ilia nook City, Oregon, to the payment oi the outstanding warrants of the City, and to the del raying the running expenses of the City lor the year 1015 including the necessary cost of a bridge to be constructed over Jlo- quarton Slough on Second Avenue S.ist in Tillamook City. The purcha .rs of the bonds shall not be required to see to the application of the pro ceeds thereof.
