I don't remember the little details following, as I say. my mind is not what it should be now. In any event, he left there between eleven and twelve o'clock, and said he was going up to see White. I remember Car penter said in that conversation that lie wanted to get this thing over with and "get to hell out of here" that he was tired of it, and his partner also and they would have to have some more money. That was the hue and cry all the time he ever saw me or White, was money, money.
