The auditorium was crowded to iti utmost capacity, and the program was enjoyed by all. Bvery grade was represented and each feature of the program was well carried out, and showed that a great deal of hard work had been done by both teachers and pupils. The program was of a patriotic na ture, and consisted of a number of fine 'historical tableau. by the eighth grade, j negro dulect and costume songs by the fifth and sixth grades; a three act , play representing the making of the Prat American flag by Hetsy Itosa, by the fourth grade, a graceful minuet by the third grade and numerous reci tations and dialogues I y the first and nccorxl grades. Croat care had been takin to have each child drcsned to represent their prt nnd they made a pretty sight on the stage dressed in their colonial styles. The purpose of the entertainment wa to raise funds to buy enough ' tures so that each room could I pic- have I pictures for its wills.
