The weather has been fine and people cornint: in from the valley and eastern cities are de lichted with the weather and condi tions here. The good train service, the fine roads for the automobilist. the pood accomodations here for the visitors, bespeak for Var View a right Kood time to all those who wish to take their vacation at the beach. The first occupants of Camp Tilla mook this iummer were members of the family of Juilce Mason of the coj-ity seat. Mrs. Mason and daugh ter Allera have owned their camp for the summer. They have as a guest Miss Ruth Holmes, daughter of Judge Unities, Tillamook City. E. S. Snelling and family, who have been sojourning here for a month, left last week for Harding Lodge near Willamina, where they will rusticate for a month. A. Adamson, with the John Clark Saddlery Company, Portland, enjoyed the sea breezes at Bar View. Mr. ami Mrs, Broderick are here from Portland for a week s stay. Mr. Brodenck is an insurance agent at the metropolis. E. NVenk is among the Portland vis itors here for a montn. Mr. Wenk is an employee of the Multnomah hotel. Edwin Williams of the Hofbran, Portland, is here on a month's vaca tion. Mr. and Mrs. August Kempin are here from Oswego, Ore. They are ac companied by Miss S. E. Hill of Os wego, and MiBS Ruth GritFin of Port land. I hev may remain a month. Mr. and Mrs. Durrer ami daughter, accompanied by Miss Eva Wheeler, are Tilwmook visitors who will enjoy the sea breezes at Bar View this sum mer. Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Craven and children are here from Dallas, for a short vacation. Mrs. J. A. Clemenson arrived last week to join her husband who carne in a week previous. She was accom panied Ly her mother Mrs. E. C. All men and her sister Miss Olga Allmen. McBride in company with her friend, Mrs. Alice Younger returned to their home in Portland the first of the week after a pleasant stay here. They had been occupying "Woodbine Cottaae." Among the Portland visitors for the past week have been Mr. and Mrs. 'Wm. G. Cruse. Mr. Cruse is in the employ of Hartman and Thompson, bankers. F. P. Allen and Mrs. Allen Hnd children are Portland visitors here for six weeks or more. Mr. Allen is gen eral missionary for the American Sun day School Union. Sig. Berven is spending his annual vacation at Bar View. He expects his family in a few days. Mr. Berven is an operator on the Morrison street bridge, Portland. W. Beamish, a butcher from Corval lis, has purchased the shop of J. J, Longcor at Garibaldi. He will be as sisted by N. C. Wilkinson a former employee. H is making the beach here a visit daily. Mrs. Ida Hannaman, Portland, is a guest of her siser.n-law AlrH. E. W. Gassett, in "The Meadows" this week. Our genial baker, John Miller, has added to hi force Paul Wittck, an ex perienced baker of Portland. Mr. and Mrs. It. A. Le Febvre are Portland visitors for a week.
